Why we keep what we love

Grief is ordinary. Every family on earth eventually reaches for something that is no longer there. We did not invent that ache — we just decided not to look away from it.

Preservation is an act of love, not vanity. Recording your voice is not about being remembered. It is about the person who will need to hear it on an ordinary Tuesday, years from now, and will be glad it exists.

We build for the family, not only the subscriber. What you preserve today is read, heard and held by people who are not in this room. That is why we treat it gently, and why we would rather build slowly than wrongly.

Nobody should carry this alone. Legacy work is emotional, and it is easy to put down. That is the entire reason this community exists — so the people doing it have somewhere to come back to.
